Nike basketball shoe designer Jason Petrie said the new shoe is inspired by the futuristic magic of the movie.

“The plot of the movie really inspired us when we were designing the LeBron 19.” Petrie said: “We wanted to create a new feeling for LeBron, a transcendent, space age-like feeling.”

For apparel, the Nike and LeBron co-branded Dri-FIT jerseys feature a smooth, shiny Durasheen fabric with a print and twill logo representing the two All-Star teams: the Tune Squad and Goon Squad. the Tune Squad baseball jacket features the same logo on the chest section and a bright orange print line on the inside. converse apparel T-shirts, shorts and hoodies that include the Looney Tunes cartoon series.
